Xhiwar‘s Smartgun build
Phenomenal !
This going to be a stellar build, like your PR was before!
Thanks!
Getting close! Here is the Smartgun in its current state.
The outer casing of the camera is still 3D printed, I will have that done in aluminum (the inside part stays 3d printed, you can't really see or touch it ...

Church's Smartgun Build (live fire)
Wow, very cool!
I went with the two-part nozzle so that I could use the GMG-42 muzzle brake and add an extension, since I was unable to determine the threading of the G&G airsoft muzzle.
It came out nice as well, but that looks absolutely fantastic!
Cheers!

A real steel live fire Smartgun… that‘s the dream!
Too much hassle in my parts of the world though, that‘s why I went with the G&G GMG42 for my build. But I‘m reeeally excited about your posts!
I‘m waiting for the pretty much last parts from my machinist and will then upload 3D models of the add-on ...

Thanks a lot Gunny!
I posted my theory over in my Smartgun Build thread, size-wise the LF-312 seems to be spot on!
Cheers!

Xhiwar‘s Smartgun build
Hi guys, thanks for the kind words!
I'm actually not planning on having parts machined more than for myself, since I normally have stuff machined by a friend with a very small shop who only does one-offs for me in his spare time. But I'll definitely make all my 3D files public so you can have these ...

That fixed the problem, the barrel slides in again. I‘ll have it machined from steel with the next batch of parts.
Cheers!

So, uh, little setback here.
The AR-125 mounting mechanism prevents me from putting the barrel back in. Removing a few mm from the front insert should suffice. Oh well, v3 of the mechanism it is. That‘s why I only give out my 3D models after testing.
Cheers!

And on a lighter note: It is common knowledge on this forum that the Kawasaki GPZ750 as well as the KZ750 are the correct switches for the Smartgun. On both versions, you have to watch out that you get the version without the smaller red switch above the turn signal, but the black rectangular plate ...

The Magura lever is the correct one, but it was Moosh who discovered the correct model I believe (1976 Magura „shorty“ lever).
Here‘s a quick progress pics, I just got a bunch of machined parts in and have installed some of them. Still a WIP though.
Cheers!

While preparing the trigger mechanism, I noticed the following:
When Adam discovered the Magura lever (and Melissa later on the correct lever), he assumed it was a brake lever due to the fact that you can see a hole on its left side in the "The Risk Always Lives" documentary:
