Incinerator Unit secrets…

OK, so this is one of the bigger „mysteries“.

Since it would be rather expensive to cut up several M16 receivers per M240 (and they were thoroughly cut both along the vertical axis as well as the outer shape of the receivers), it‘s likely some sort of replica was used. This is supported by the fact ...

Incinerator Unit secrets…

Here’s another Hansen mystery:

It is generally accepted that the incinerator had a brass Hansen 4-HK coupling. But look what I got: a stainless steel one!

When looking at reference images, it is true that several incinerators had a brass version, especially both of the “broken ...

Incinerator Unit secrets…

I posted this on the old forum and in the Facebook group, but decided to make a new thread here as well. Please feel free to add any information, "secrets", stuff you noticed or any other tidbit here as well! I love any info that can make future builds more accurate! :-)

Sure, everyone knows they ...

Xhiwar‘s Smartgun build

Phenomenal !

This going to be a stellar build, like your PR was before!

Thanks!
Getting close! Here is the Smartgun in its current state.
The outer casing of the camera is still 3D printed, I will have that done in aluminum (the inside part stays 3d printed, you can't really see or touch it ...

Church's Smartgun Build (live fire)

Wow, very cool!
I went with the two-part nozzle so that I could use the GMG-42 muzzle brake and add an extension, since I was unable to determine the threading of the G&G airsoft muzzle.
It came out nice as well, but that looks absolutely fantastic!

Cheers!

Church's Smartgun Build (live fire)

A real steel live fire Smartgun… that‘s the dream!
Too much hassle in my parts of the world though, that‘s why I went with the G&G GMG42 for my build. But I‘m reeeally excited about your posts!

I‘m waiting for the pretty much last parts from my machinist and will then upload 3D models of the add-on ...

Found Part Measurements: Plastruct Knob for M10/HMS Camera

Thanks a lot Gunny!
I posted my theory over in my Smartgun Build thread, size-wise the LF-312 seems to be spot on!

Cheers!

Xhiwar‘s Smartgun build

Hi guys, thanks for the kind words!
I'm actually not planning on having parts machined more than for myself, since I normally have stuff machined by a friend with a very small shop who only does one-offs for me in his spare time. But I'll definitely make all my 3D files public so you can have these ...

That fixed the problem, the barrel slides in again. I‘ll have it machined from steel with the next batch of parts.

Cheers!
