So at some point I had the stock and barrel vent made from 40x40x3mm steel tube, as the screen-used ones were. I used the fantastic plans by Stefan Otto aka Bugstomper.

I love the new forum, and in the spirit of improvement, this is a list of things I noticed while posting my build threads:

- The search function is a bit useless. When I search for "Smartgun" or "Pulse Rifle", it says:

So one important question is: did they drill through the MG42 receiver or not? It may look obvious that the Kawasaki struts are attached directly to the receiver, but the image of the MG42 prior to restoration doesn't seem to show any additional holes drilled into it.

Around that time, the APS CAM870 shell ejecting shotgun became available. I had to get one. If only the bolt wasn't so ugly, it seems to be modelled after some sort of competition bolt with milled out slots.
