Seiko Pulsemeter strap colour

Hi all,
I have been trying to do some research on the correct strap for the USCM standard watch. There's not a lot out there (not that I can find), but I notice that a lot of prop replicas (eBay, Etsy, others) have an olive drab band. Looking at the movie, it seems to me that the band is black. Also, whilst there was a variant of the watch that comes with a OD band - the LCD bezel on that one is silver, when the screen used seems to be black.
I have two original Pulsemeters, and I could swap the bands over - but I think that the black is what was used. See pics. Be interested in people's thoughts. (I am a noob here, but have tried searching for this on the forum; forgive me if it has been discussed and I've missed it).
P.s. I had started to paint the orange buttons black when I took this picture.
